Wentz Eiji to voice act for the Japanese version of “Arthur Christmas”

It has been revealed that talent Wentz Eiji will be voice acting for the Japanese dubbed version of the Hollywood animated film, "Arthur Christmas".

Wentz will provide the voice for Santa’s second son, Arthur. He was chosen to play this role because the character’s looks and personality were similar to his, and the fact that he is a second son himself. Wentz enthusiastically stated, “I will work hard to show my spirit.”

“Arthur Christmas” is a 3D Christmas fantasy about a young boy who dreams of becoming Santa Claus to deliver gifts to children around the world. Wentz commented, “Rather than my voice, I want to do my best to increase the solidity to deliver this story to everyone.”

This story was created from a common question asked by children: “How does Santa Claus deliver gifts to children around the world in one night?” In the movie, there is an operation center under the ice in the North Pole, and a million faeries deliver the presents by using a high tech sleigh… but because of a pitfall in the sleigh, one child couldn’t receive a gift. Santa and his eldest son, Steve, gives up, but Arthur is determined to deliver the gift to that one child in two hours. Will Arthur be able to successfully deliver the present?

“Arthur Christmas” will hit theatres on November 23rd.
